Box frames (aka gallery frames) are our most popular type of frame. They’re a great option for photographs, and works of art on paper, such as drawings, watercolors, and sketches. Unlike traditional simple frames, box frames feature a spacer between the glass and the work to prevent moisture from accumulating and give a work a high-quality look. Fine art prints are mounted on rigid board, and works on paper are mounted on acid-free boards using Japanese paper hinges and water-based glue to prevent damage to the work and preserve it for a longer time. Consider opting for passepartout and customizing the spacer size to bring the piece closer to the glass and draw the viewer’s gaze to the work on display.

A floating frame has a minimalist look and is suitable for prints mounted on rigid surfaces such as Dibond, KAPA, Face-Mount, and ChromaLuxe. To protect the print over time against scratches and UV radiation, you can opt for laminated RC paper or Face-Mount in which the paper is glued to acrylic.

No glass floating frames are also great options for stretched canvas paintings or works of art on hard surfaces such as plywood, sandwich board, or MDF panels. Frames are customized so that the surface of the painting is flush with the surface of the frame. During our complimentary consultation session, we will work with you to determine the thickness of the facade, depth of the profile, wood color and type, and other parameters, to create a frame that complements your work.

Our aluminum frames use profiles made by the renowned German company Nielsen. Because the profiles are so strong, they can be thinner than similarly sized frames constructed from wood, giving them a delicate and elegant look. The profiles come in a variety of colors and wood veneer coatings. Prints can be framed on matte paper. If a glossy finish is preferred, consider adding passepartout to separate the work from the glass,draw focus to the displayed works, and prevent unwanted adhesion that can form over time from direct contact between glass and glossy or semi-glossy paper. Fine art prints are mounted on rigid board, and works on paper are mounted on acid-free boards using Japanese paper hinges and water-based glue to prevent damage to the work and preserve it for a longer time.

Our light boxes are made similarly to box frames, but have a deeper profile. The image is carefully printed on high-quality backlit film, which is placed in the front of the box. Dimmable LED lighting can be installed. You can customize your light box just like any other frame by selecting your desired type of wood, color and profile dimensions.

We build stretcher frames and stretch painted canvas. Our extensive experience allows us to fine tune profile thickness and make other necessary adjustments to prevent warping. Consider showcasing your stretched canvas in a no glass floating frame.

Pigmented inkjet printing is the highest quality printing available in the world, both in terms of color depth and ink resolution. The ink is stable and durable, designed to last for decades, and even over 100 years, in the right indoor conditions (i.e., low temperature and humidity). All of our fine art papers give a rich depth of color, and are reminiscent of gelatin-silver prints printed in a darkroom. We can print in any size, with a maximum width of up to 162 cm (64”). All of our papers are acid-free. Fine art semi-glossy papers: Choose among Baryta, Pearl, Satin. Fine art matte smooth papers or with varying textures, including rag, fiber and more. Resin coated (RC) papers (glossy, luster, semi-glossy). Affordable photo prints, reminiscent of Lambda C-Prints. Our studio is a Hahnemuhle Certified Studio. We take pride in every step of the process – from the materials we source (from the paper to the glue!), to our mounting techniques, meticulous and ongoing selection of color profiles, equipment maintenance, screen calibration, through packaging and shipment – and are committed to making long-lasting works that stand the test of time and don’t fade.

Face mounting on Perspex acrylic sheets gives an image a rich, sharp and deep HD look, all while allowing a print to be protected from scratches and UV rays, from both sides without any need for a frame. Transparent silicone is used to create two rigid layers encasing the print: a top layer made of transparent Perspex (matte, glossy or museum-grade) and a back layer made of Dibond. The Perspex in front of the print emphasizes the clarity and vibrancy of the colors, and gives the finished work a fresh look. No glass floating frames are a great option for face mounted works. Alternatively, an aluminum back frame hanging system gives the work the appearance of floating 1-2 cm away from the wall. Choose between three types of finishes: Glossy Perspex that enriches the colors and contrast; Matte Perspex that reduces glare but also mutes contrast and colors; Museum-grade anti-reflective Perspex, called Tru Life, which, like museum-grade glass, is glossy and brings colors to life while at the same time reducing glare and increasing the three-dimensional feeling of a work. Museum-grade Perspex is coated with a protective 99% UV filter, scratch-resistant and anti-static, which prevents dust from clinging to the surface.

Our method of printing on high quality wallpaper using a multi-use adhesive allows the wallpaper to be removed from walls without leaving a mark, and to even be hung again later on another surface! Wallpaper can be printed in several parts, so there is no limit to the size of the wallpaper, or walls! Please note that seams run along the vertical edge.

ChromaLuxe infuses images directly onto 1.2 mm sheets of durable aluminum metal producing vibrant, clear, scratch-resistant and longer-lasting works that can even be displayed in spaces exposed to moisture, such as kitchens and bathrooms. Available in glossy, semi-glossy and matte finishes on white or silver metal. An aluminum back frame hanging system can be hung to the back to give a work the appearance of floating 1-2 cm from the wall.

We print on two types of transparent backlit film: Milky backlit film: Optimal for light boxes, as it allows for uniform and optimal distribution of backlight. Maximum printing width: 150 cm. Clear backlit film: Optimal for creating contact prints from digital negatives. As it has a delicate bluish shade, it is mainly suitable for monochromatic B&W images. Maximum printing width: 110 cm.

The drum scanner uses light-sensitive vacuum tubes, as opposed to standard scanners that use a CCD sensor. The scanning is carried out in three different channels (RGB) by separate filters, which allows for a large dynamic range, a lot of information in blacks, and high definition up to a resolution of 19,200 DPI. These 16-bit scans boast high color separation and are suitable for large prints. As the scans more accurately capture the tonal range in a negative, they make for better prints. Each frame is scanned separately with a special scanning fluid that causes the film to adhere to the drum uniformly, so that focus is maintained along the entire surface of the film, including at the edges. The fluid removes scratches and dust, which also improves and reduces the need for retouching later on.

We scan paintings, illustrations, photographs and any other two-dimensional works up to 30 x 40 cm, using a Scitex scanner to generate a high-quality file with a resolution of 600 dpi, best suited for books, catalogs, reproductions, and enlargements. When scanning, we aim to process colors to match the original. We can also scan at higher resolutions, on request for an additional fee.

Mounting on a Dibond® surface affords a work the maximum level of archival preservation. Dibond® is about 3-4 mm thick and is made of two layers of aluminum with black polyethylene in between the two. We use an acid-free adhesive made in Germany that does not contain toxins that could damage an image over time. An aluminum back frame hanging system can be hung to the back to give a work the appearance of floating 1-2 cm from the wall. Box frames and no glass floating frames are great options for Dibond mounted prints. As with any other glass-free frame, works are vulnerable to the risk of scratches, dust, and fingerprints. To counteract this, we recommend printing on laminated RC paper.

Gray KAPA® (KAPA®fix) and white Kapa (KAPA®line) foam board are made in Germany and provide a high level of conservation. KAPA®fix is a lightweight foam board with self-adhesive, aluminum-reinforced paperboard that keeps it smooth and stable over time. It has a polyurethane foam core and comes in thicknesses of 10 mm or 5 mm, depending on the size of the print. The more affordable KAPA®line is a lightweight foam board with layers of coated carton board and a polyurethane foam core. Unlike KAPA®fix it is not aluminum-reinforced or self-adhesive. We recommend mounting works larger than 120 cm on gray KAPA. We use an acid-free double-sided adhesive when mounting to white KAPA foam board. White KAPA foam board is a cheaper option than gray KAPA foam board, but is still a high-quality and long-lasting option. Box frames and no glass floating frames are both great options for works mounted on white or gray KAPA foam board.

PVC comes in white or black and is a compressed plastic material , that comes in different thicknesses from 2 mm to 10 mm. PVC panels are foam-free unlike KAPA foam board. Like works mounted on Dibond, PVC panels are usually hung using an aluminum back frame hanging system that gives them the appearance of floating 1-2 cm from the wall. As with any other glass-free frame, works are vulnerable to the risk of scratches, dust, and fingerprints. To counteract this, we recommend printing on laminated RC paper.

This technique is suitable for mounting large works, or for use without frames. The gator board is a durable material and a cheaper option than mounting on Dibond.

Using the CNC advanced capabilities, we are able to almost all types of existing materials used as part of the printing and framing process - printing papers in cases where there are large quantities, sandwich wood pallets and MDF for the preparation of frames in complex shapes, solid wood, cartons, sponges, aluminum, dibond, chromalox, perspex, transparencies and more .

We import acid-free corrugated cardboard in various thicknesses from the German company Klug and make custom-sized storage boxes for works of art in almost any size. Please email us your specific dimensions (width, length and height) and we’ll happily send you a price quote.

We process B&W and color films (C41) in all formats. Color films are processed using Fuji chemicals and B&W films are processed with Kodak D76 chemicals using a JOBO processor. We are happy to push or pull film, or make exposure corrections, on request for an additional fee. Once ready, negatives are inserted into a high-quality acid-free transparent Print-File sleeve. Processing prices include a basic scan. If you’d prefer to scan negatives yourself at home, we are happy to process film for you without scans at a reduced rate. You can order prints on glossy or semi-glossy paper in the following sizes: 10 x 15, 13 x 18, 15 x 21 and 20 x 30 cm.

We scan film with Noritsu scanners and send files via WeTransfer. Our scans are typically done at standard high resolution. We are happy to provide images in the TIFF uncompressed file format at an additional cost.

Disposable cameras and film can be purchased at any of our vending machines in three cities: Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Haifa and Jerusalem. Each of these machines has a drop-off box where you can deposit used film for our Photo Lab to process. Of course, you can also bring rolls of film to our Photo Lab at 21 HaTahiteh Street, Tel Aviv-Jaffa. See below for the locations of the machines and drop-off boxes.
